Velvet Cafe in Sosua is one of our favorite party spots in El Batey, where we get to enjoy their friendly staff, good wine and drinks selection, and a complete menu that includes American breakfast, pasta, steak, fish, Mexican dishes, salads, seafood dishes and local delicacies. Since its inception, this restaurant bar has made it to the list of favorite places in Sosua.

Velvet Cafe has a terrace that extends to the outside, with a wooden deck and a very pleasing atmosphere and decor. The interior lounge is also very pleasing and elegant, with a full bar where best friends can mingle and party. The classy atmosphere and its location (facing Ahnvee) makes it an ideal choice in town.

How to Get There

Take Pedro Clisante Street going East, towards Ahnvee. Velvet Cafe is just before reaching the main entrance to the resort. If coming from East to West, just take the road down the old Car Wash (El Flow) before the CMC medical center, then take a left 30 meters and you’re there.
