Can events be held at any villa rental? one of the reasons many other planners contact us is the fact that not all villas are bachelor party or wedding/event friendly. We know the ones that are suitable for events and guests, and only recommend those to clients if told in advance exactly what to expect.
How far in advance must a villa or venue be rented? Most people book months in advance, and even up to a year. The best places get booked first, so it is better to stay ahead of other renters by booking well enough in advance. back a few years Sosua had less visitors, and villas would be booked 3-4 months in advance. Today the same villas need to be requested 6-8 months ahead of time before the calendar gets booked up.
Can a bachelor party be held on a beach? Yes, any event can be held on a beach in the Northern DR. If the event has a large number of people we get permits and staff to make sure it complies with local rules. There are also many beach bars where bachelor parties can be organized with drinks, food and music.
What is included in the venue and villa rentals? Most venue rental include DJ, bartender, waiters, security, light and sounds system, VIP lounges and back up power. SE can also include a full package with drinks, food, and a ceremonial host. Villa rentals include daily maid service, WiFi, Cable TV, air conditioned suites, private swimming pool, gardener and security. Most packages also include private chef and driver with van or luxury SUV.
Is the Online Shop available for the general public, worldwide? Yes, anyone can buy from the online store and get the items shipped to anywhere in North America, The Caribbean, and South America. Any other countries must submit a request as we work with suppliers in the USA and Canada and need to submit any special shipping requests. Couriers such as Fedex and DHL can deliver to European countries, for an added fee. Many items are available in Sosua, so those can be shipped within the hour and delivered straight to the villa same day, or before arrival with pre orders.
How often is the Events Guide updated? The online Event Guide is updated several times every week, and includes the latest event promotions from Sosua`s top 10 restaurants, bars, discos and clubs. Eventually it will reach other cities such as Cabarete, Puerto Plata and Cofresi.
What is the closest airport flying to Sosua? The closest airport to Sosua is POP and is only 10 minutes away by car. The second closest airport is STI in Santiago, one hour away by car.
